A dark, heavy blue blankets the sky;
stars freckled across Her timeless face
omnipotent endlessness In the deep night
then there is light
the dawn turns to day
and the warmth greets my face.
Are freckles just kisses from angels?
Perhaps they are Mother’s.
Adorning my face with constellations
Because she knows how I adore Her’s.
