Come, unto me
In times when I am rooted.
Guide me to Thy goodness,
and let me feel its weight.
Why do I have to look so hard
to catch a glimpse?
The wisdom that comes is small,
like a whip just staring to grow.
I long for more;
Give me a forest!
On Thy side I stand
like a sapling, someday strong.
For now, come unto me.
Be the light I need
to grow up like Thee.
I am Your child.
