“A Mother! A Mother! We have got a Father, and there cannot be a Mother” by Natalie Cosby
I have spent a lot of my adult spiritual life wondering about my Heavenly Mother. I wanted Her to be present. To be visible. I wanted Her to be as significant as my Heavenly Father was. I hoped that She was, and told myself that She was, but I didn’t actually believe that She was. I didn’t actually believe that I was.
When I first felt the presence of my Heavenly Mother, the first thing She did was address these beliefs for me, and negated them. She showed me Her Divine essence in all of Her feminine power and glory. She showed me that the feminine parts of myself that the world told me made me less than, were the characteristics She possessed that made Her the Divine Feminine being that She is. She showed me that She was powerful beyond comprehension. She showed me that the spirit of love, comfort, and nurturing that She had to offer was stronger and more powerful than any I had felt before. She showed me that She was real, that She loved me, and that I was like Her.
