Revelation 12:
1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
Who was this woman? Because She gives birth to the ruler of all nations, some see her as Mary; the earthly mother of Jesus. Others see her as Heavenly Mother, the spirit mother of Jesus, or as a different figure entirely. Most see her as mere symbolism. I personally identify her as our Universal Mother, travailing for our creation; In joy and pain, with love and wisdom, delivering us. Some see that child as Jesus Christ, others see it as His Kingdom on Earth. I saw myself in her; creating something beautiful through strife. Gaining my Godhood as She did, gaining my glory through Hers.
