Watching Over Us – Heavenly Mother Matters

You are my source of light and peace. You, co-creators of your precious world, and all your children in it. I feel you holding me, my source of peace and surety amidst all the unknown. I can feel you constantly shaping and molding me. It is uncomfortable, but you have shown me my divine nature, and what I can become. I strive to love as you love me. I strive to protect as you protect me. I strive to watch over others, as I feel you watching over me.

I have been nervous to post this, because it is so precious to me, and a slight departure from my recent artwork. But really, it’s not a huge departure at all, because this painting celebrates Heavenly Mother and her partnership with our Father. And that is what I try to do through my artwork-empower, celebrate, and strengthen women.

Maybe this painting means something else to you. Maybe she represents Mother Nature to you, or maybe they remind you of your parents. Whatever this painting means to you, I hope it touches you in some way and reminds you that you are perfectly loved, and that we are being watched over and held in their arms. Always.
